This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Now that I am in a limbo between companies (not a euphenism for unemployed in this case) I find myself with quite some time to think about the way I want to develope myself artistically and professionally. It will take another two to three months before the Monkey Station (MS) (the new company concept) is up and running. So until then... no stressy deadlines (at least not for paying clients). The only mayor gig at this moment is getting all the legal and creative prework for MS.
In Medianaut (the old company I'm techincally still in) I felt I had lost the joy in my work. This because I was mostly working as a graphic designer, which really isn't what I enjoy most. On top of that most designs I had to make where very comporate and 'clean' in style, which isn't really my way of working.
The projects I did enjoy where a couple of artists impressions I had to make for VNU (a very big company in EU that organizes all the biggest fairs about pretty much anything). I liked it because it was 'real'. Real paper, real markers, real muscle-pain (which is different from the one you get from sitting behind a computer all day).
Now I have the luxurious position to start over and profile myself in any way I want, I'd like to perfect some of the long lost techniques I used to have, and develope some new ones I've been seeing around this community. I won't make the same mistake again to be pushed in tasks I really don't want to do. I am MY OWN WOMAN!
I'll be posting whatever I'm doing the coming months here... so please... be tough!
Thanks idleman, I am def enjoying myself here... there are a lot of very talented artists around that get that old 'creative-competitive' spark going... feels like school again
para desearles Feliz navidad!!!
Que la pases bien!
